      Junior Development Program -

The most important thing one can do to nurture a young child at this stage is to keep it fun. When working on basic technique, we set up targets (cones) on the court, and if he or she hits one of them near it, we make a big deal of accomplishment. Positive reinforcement is crucial at this young age. In addition, we set up fun filled games that incorporate the basic fundamentals of which is to have each child swing for the back fence. This helps to develop a longer stroke and depth over time into each child's game. Lastly, we perform a dynamic warm up at the beginnig lifelong love for the game of tennis.

      Adult  Development Program -

During the development stage of an adult player, we emphasize on improving the technical aspects of each stroke, such as the forehand, backhand, and serve. We isloate and work on specific technical aspects of each stroke during our simple progressions of hand feeding drills to racquet feeding drills. This gives the player an increased amount of repetitions that enhance their muscle memory of each technical aspect, thus improving their stroke. We also focus on incorporating the proper footwork into each player's game with specific footwork drills. We also encourage an enjoyable environmetn for each player with certain games that use the specific technical aspects worked on in each practice.

We incorporate simple patterns and ball recognition drills in order to teach the player how to play and develop each point. We strongly encourage our players to play each specific point with a purpose. The drills progress into actual point play in which we include those specific patterns. This helps the player to practice and incorporate those particular patterns into their everyday game. With the incorporation of the patterns in a point play format the enjoyment of the player is also enhanced.
